Will there be a future Crypto Environmental War - Who will win?

I have now been involved someway or another with Blockchain technologies for many years, whether it be through my first bitcoin ever bought back in 2007 or my current interest in the NFT applications to our world. After spending time aping my way through the metaverse you learn more and more about the world in general and how it operates. I have been lucky enough to have an interest in these topics for a number of years now and gained a good grasp of the do's and dont's. I also feel like there is huge potential for the environmental sector utilise these blockchain technologies, hence my reason for creating the enviro-blocker platform. I cant wait to see how these technologies will affect our lives moving forward and also how it will change the way we operate in society.

In the future as more and more adoption takes place there will be much more pressure upon blockchains and crypto organisations to run efficiently and as environmentally friendly as they possible can, this is due to a variety of pressures. We are now at a stage where the arguments are being made and the questions are being asked, Well what is the most 'environmentally friendly' crypto currency for me to use? Again I wish there was a one shop stop and a simple answer to say this one is the best. However I can not make an informed decision yet due to the fast paced nature of blockchains at present. POS, POW, DPOS, Proof of Storage are all in their own way have their own specific use case. Although one is more environmentally friendly is it secure enough to be used on a larger scale or will this block chain have other wasted outcomes in the real world like more E- waste or more use of resources. Again this is just one of many questions surrounding the environmental side of blockchains. Also will these blockchains become more regulated into the future so they have to comply with environmental regulation or commitments?

Over time I imagine that there will at some point be a so called "blockchain war" with underlying argument that one blockchain is more environmentally friendly than another in order to gain more adoption. We have seen in centralized companies that green washing is 100% a real thing and that making your customers believe that you are the most environmentally friendly can give you the competitive edge. I believe over the next few years we will see this come to light in the mainstream media outlets much more. So be sure to understand that interoperability , security and user base are also important not just the fundamentals of the blockchain. In order for mainstream adoption having a good sustainability plan and ethos will help blockchain organizations gain better adoption into the future.

When I say war I don't exactly know how, but i foresee that there will definitely be manipulation in the mainstream media towards this subject so please do your research and strive to learn how each blockchain is doing their part to make a more sustainable future. Be sure to do your own research and make your own educated decisions not just what you see on one one website or from one persons viewpoint.
