Systems Innovation Community are an enthusiastic group of academics looking to create awareness around various innovations and there adoption into the future. They released the below video back in 2018 and outline some very important information and use cases. They outline important information regarding how tokenization can help to influence peoples mentalities and movements. Tokenization in particular could be used in a similar fashion to what we see now days with carbon taxing. On the flip side it can be used to incentivize users to act differently in order to reduce their environmental footprint, it can also be used to offset current carbon uses in a more transparent fashion. They touch on the uses of  current energy usages and transfer methods which can be improved to help in turn lean to more renewable sources. Another fantastic video I would advise you spend 15 minutes of your time watching. Again it delivers the information in a very user friendly manner.
