Even Bitboy has had enough!

One of the largest crypto education channels on the internet at the moment is Bitboy Crypto. He has run a youtube channel for a number of years which has grown exponentially oer the past year especially. He regular gives advice and education on a variety of crypto topics mainly based at investing. However as always environmental implications of decentralized platforms has gained more traction of recent and like myself he has become fed up with the false news surrounding this topic. He regularly touches on the subject that although there are large sums of money to be made in crypto, there in turn is huge platforms for environmental improvements within society.

In one of my earlier articles i touch on how elon is manipulating the media for his own gain by making it seem like blockchain technology and bitcoin are not 'environmentally friendly'. I saw this afternoon that bitboy had posted a similar video topic which explains more on Elon musk and his intentions. I will say that he may be a little bitter towards Elon but he does however make some good points. Once again it is one for a quick watch and I have put the link below.

Although this touches on a lot of subjects not just environmental implications it shows first had the manipulation taking place in the crypto-sphere, and is just one example of where fake news can be used to benefit people and in turn twist the public's perception of the environmental implications. He also posted another video on the negative press regarding energy usage from bitcoin mining which I have linked below. Again this is from his point of view and focuses on the bitcoin blockchain specifically, which is one of thousands of blockchains.

It is good to see that mainstream platforms like Bitboy are providing information on this subject and long may it last. It is key we create awareness around this topic within the crypto community. As decentralized adoption increases so to will the environmental applications associated with them.
