CCA incubator - Working towards proof of green in crypto

A few months ago I mentioned the Crypto Climate Accord and how impressed I have been with their work the past year. They are at the forefront in my eyes at present in "making crypto green". The CCA was formed after the Paris climate summit with the intentions to help the crypto sector more environmentally friendly and in turn hopefully help solve some of the worlds environmental issues moving forward into the future. I have noticed a huge amount of work being done by the CCA to reach out to other members of the crypto community and help influence change for the positive.

The main reason for writing this article is to highlight a web session which was help on youtube involving the CCA. The incubator, which I have linked below, is just short of an hour long and well worth the watch.

The video outlines some of the things that need improved on within the sector and plans to make changes over the next few years. There is a lot of information surrounding bitcoin mining and how these companies are using renewables and locating their mining operations in certain areas for profit and how it is also helping communities and their local environments together. I urge anyone interested in the environmental implications of blockchain technologies to have a look at the above link.
