Blockchain Climate Institute - A Progressive Think Tank

Over the past few years I have watched the environmental community slowly change their opinions and viewpoints slightly in regards to blockchain tech and the possibilities its brings to improving environmental conditions. I feel it is only a matter of time before the environmental community start to realise the potential of blockchain technologies. When first realising that blockchains had a huge potential I felt like I was alone and fighting everyone on the subject matter. Most of my peers and follow environmentalist were against using blockchains simply because they did not understand what a blockchain is and how it can help.

Over the past years we have seen the CCA (crypto climate accord) growing rapidly and also seen that a lot of blockchain/ crypto organistaions are beginning to take into account their environmental footprint and how they can improve it. This trend I am sure will continue moving forward as more people understand the potential. Recently I have been watching the growth of another blockchain/climate change organisation called the Blockchain Climate Institue. I have put a link to the website below for your information.

The Blockchain Climate Institute is " a progressive think tank providing leading expertise in the deployment of emerging technologies for climate and sustainability actions." Taken from their website the group aims to be at the forefront of helping bring light to the subject of blockchains and how the can innovate and change environmental conditions moving forward. Much like myself they believe that climate change can be improved through these technologies. I can not wait to see what the BCI brings to the table over he coming years, I think the most important thing we can do right now is create networks of like minded individuals who can in turn communicate and help relay the correct information to the public and organisations alike.

I once again urge you to sign up for their newsletters and keep an eye on their website over the coming years as I am sure they will be bringing good resources and educated and informed opinions on the subject matter.
